How do I update a profile that exists in Salesforce?

Blue means new! New data in Salesforce is blue and data that Ecquire finds in your Salesforce database will be black.

Suppose you capture a new profile and want to add that to Salesforce. It will appear in the Ecquire drawer as shown in the image below. The data is new to Salesforce so the text is blue.

If you return to that same profile later on and notice the data has changed you can select that profile from the list of profiles Ecquire has found. Screen Shot 2016-03-25 at 5.42.06 PM

You can tell if it already exists by seeing it if it is a Lead, Contact or Account.

After selecting the existing profile Ecquire will return data that exists in Salesforce.

From here you will need to copy or type the new data into Salesforce. As you type to replace the company name the text will appear blue indicating new data will be sent to Salesforce. Once you are done you can select “Update in Salesforce” to update an existing Salesforce record.

After clicking you should see the success screen and from here you can click into the Salesforce record using the link provided in the popdown window.
